A chat with Sachin Tendulkar

Here are some excerpts of a conversation I had with Sachin Tendulkar a couple of years ago. He talked about his transition from being the junior most player in the Indian team to the most experienced cricketer in India and his dealing with it. He spoke of how his childhood dream still stokes his intensity and about staying a step ahead of rival bowlers, about executing the plans well and on having to make changes to plans at the batting crease.  And, of course, he trashes reports of his retirement.
